* How much does it cost to have space?

The price for this service is 15 pounds per year. Please contact netsales@kamtec.demon.co.uk for more information.

* How much space do I get?

You get 250K of space (about 250,000 charactors). That should be enough for plenty of text and lots of gifs or a few high res colour photographs.

* Can I ftp/telnet to my Site?

The usual telnet functions can performed using the operating form.
Unfortunately you cannot ftp files directly to your area. What you can do is fetch files from ftp sites. So you can ftp your stuff to a site such as ftp.pipex.co.uk/incoming and then fetch them using the operating form.

* Can I write CGI-Scripts?

There is a guestbook program available for use on set up, and the contents of any form written by you can be emailed to you. See Plug and Play Forms
Other than this CGI-Scripting is not available.

* Do I have to keep the stuff on my home page?

No. You can have whatever you want on your pages.
However you may want to keep the advert as it maintains a log of all accesses to your page. See the
Advert Log for more details.

* Is there a log of visitors to my site?

Yes and No. There is the shared log which gives details of accesses to all of the Sites at Kamtec. However it does not give details of visitors to individual pages.
If you have kept the advert on your page this keeps a detailed log of all accesses to your page. See the Advert Log for more details.
