- hotlist.html - A sample hotlist.
- guestbook.html - A guestbook.
- guestentry.html - A form for guestbook entries.
- guestokay.html - Page indicating succesful guestbook entry
- guesterror.html - Page indicating erroneous guestbook entry
Either click on the 'guarded' link on the front page or go directly to
http://www.netlink.co.uk/users/kamtec/login.html
You will need to enter your user name and your password.
This command is available from the 'File' menu.
This simply produces a list of files in the home directory.
Clicking on one of the file names listed takes you into edit mode with that
file.
This command is available from the 'File' menu.
The name of the file you wish to edit should be included in the filename
text box. This produces a screen with the chosen file shown in an input box.
You can edit the file on screen and then save it. See below.
This command is available from the 'File' menu.
Note that this command is only available when a file is being edited.
Choosing this option saves the contents of the input box onto the file,
thereby updating it with the corrections made. If a file name is entered
as 'filename 1' then the file is saved with this name and the original is
left unaltered.
This command is available from the 'File' menu.
Enter the name of the file to be erase into the filename 1 input box.
Use with caution deleted files cannot be undeleted.
This command is available from the 'File' menu.
The names of the files should be entered into the filename input boxes. The
name of the source file should appear in inputbox 1 and the destination
file in inputbox 2.
This command is available from the 'Miscellaneous' menu.
This gives the number of files and space used up in your home area.
This command is available from the 'Miscellaneous' menu.
This lists your default settings - Edit box size, quota, and email.
You can reset the size of the box and your email.
This command is available from the 'Miscellaneous' menu.
This is used to 'fetch' files from remote ftp servers. This is the
recommended method of putting personal graphics onto your site.
This command is available from the 'Miscellaneous' menu.
You should press this after you have finished with the operating form.
This logs you out of the system.
There is an archive of useful graphics stored onsite for the use of Kamtec
account holders.
This is intended for general use by all to reduce space usage as their use
does not effect your quota usage.
More details and a full list of available images is stored in the
Kamtec Graphics Archive.
Images are linked to as /images/image.dir/images.name
First check that a suitable graphic is not available in the
Kamtec Graphics Archive.
If it is not
and you would like it added to your account you should upload it onto an
anonymous ftp server (eg ftp.pipex.co.uk) and fetch the image using the
'Fetch' command on the operating form.
If all else fails and the answer to your problem cannot be found here,
you can email user support at
